Styling an Aztec print skirt

Aztec prints are vibrant and colourful. I am always drawn to bright colours even though I sometimes end up wearing a boring black tee and jeans if I'm in a hurry!

The great thing about doing this daily styling challenge is that it has encouraged me to be more creative and start to wear all of the wonderful things already in my wardrobe.

I bought this Aztec print skirt in Japan two years ago and have only worn it once previously, with a black tee. I had lots of fun styling it more creatively and loved wearing it the second time!

The skirt:

The top:

Top from Suzanne Grae

Scarf from Myer

The shoes:

The ring:

The bangle:

The bag:

  1. Today's combination has worked very well for you. I agree it is nice to change from wearing black either as a top or skirt/trousers to mix more colours into your combinations. Those shoes are certainly fantastic. My question to you: Is your muse having the day off from work today???

    1. Thank you for your comment Flossie! The shoes are great, aren't they?! My muse was supposed to be at work today but she refused to come out of her dressing room (also known as under my bed!!) Better luck next time!!
