Like a moth to a flame

When it comes to clothing (and accessories!) I cannot resist an animal motif.  In fact, if I am walking past a market stall or shop and I see a top or skirt emblazoned with an animal, I gravitate towards it like a moth to a flame!  (Sorry! I couldn't resist!)

When I first saw this top on the rack, I thought it was covered in butterflies.  As I was trying it on I realised they were actually moths!  I know that I was terrified of moths as a child, so I temporarily cringed at the thought of being covered in them!  In spite of my childhood fears, I knew I had to have this fun and quirky design.

The outfit:
Top: H & M
Skirt: Crossroads
Boots: Colorado

Earrings:
Eden Grace

Bag: Sportsgirl
Ring: present from Mum

This is me fluttering off to find my next great purchase!!

  1. Oh, loving your rebecca minkoff-esq bag! Sportsgirl do so many great inspired pieces and that bag is no exception! :)

I like your fun knit too! I was terrified as spiders as a kid and still am so there's no way you'd catch me wearing anything resembling them, ha! The boys have a giant realistic toy spider I got so they wouldn't be afraid, but it makes me jump every time I see it!

Hope that you had a wonderful weekend :) We had a birthday party for my eldest so it was a bit busy, but lots of fun.

    1. Thanks so much, Mica! Ooh, I'm terrified of spiders too! I don't think I could wear a top (or anything) covered in spiders either! ;) I hope your son had a lovely birthday! XXX

  2. You are looking gorgeous in that outfit, Sasha! The moth print of your top is pretty unusual but I quite like it. I'm not a big fan of moths, especially big ones, but they are quite fascinating creatures. The photo of you "fluttering" made me smile! But wait, where's Amber? xxx

  3. I had a chuckle at you saying about not liking moths as a child & now you are covered in them. I really like the outfit you've chosen to wear but am wondering if Amber would be very impressed!! Flossie
