Dinosaur Day!

Although I don't wear graphic tees much anymore, I still can't resist a good one when I see one!  I recently stumbled upon this one at H & M and had to have it!

I love the movie Jurassic Park (the original only!) and I really like the colours of the flowers on this tee, so I knew this top was coming home with me!

I loved dinosaurs as a kid and have remained fascinated by them as an adult.  I have passed my interest onto my son who  seems to know more about them than a paleontologist!!😂I look forward to when he's old enough to watch Jurassic Park (without having nightmares), so that we can discuss what it would be like if dinosaurs roamed the earth again!

Back to the outfit now!  I decided to wear this top with this gorgeous pre-loved skirt that I bought in Japan a few years ago.  It is so pretty and is fully lined.

The outfit:
Top: H & M
Skirt: Bought in Japan
Shoes: Kmart
Watch: Bought in Japan
Ring: Lovisa
Earrings: Eden Grace
Cuff: present from Mum
Bag: Rockmans
Brooch: Tattooed Zombie

I chose accessories that matched the colours on the skirt and top (no surprises there!😂)

I wore these embroidered sneakers from Kmart.  They were surprisingly comfy considering they were only $5!

I couldn't resist adding my cute little T-Rex brooch to my bag for some additional dino power!!😂

My son insisted I must pose with two of his dinosaur toys, in order to best serve the dino theme!  He's definitely inherited my love of all things matchy-matchy!!  Amber was not so keen on sharing the spotlight!!😂

  1. Love that pic at the end, 'you are roar-some' is brilliant! :)

such a fun take on the classic logo too with the florals, and it works so well with your skirt and the embroidery on your shoes. I thought I was scoring a bargain picking up a pair of shoes at Kmart for $8, $5 is even better!

Hope that your weekend is off to a nice start :) I went to a big opshop sale this morning and picked up some bargains! :)

  2. Jurassic Park is such a classic! It's a fun tee, and of course you had the right accessory for in that dinosaur brooch. Your skirt is gorgeous, and I think I need a watch like yours! What is it with children and dinosaurs? My nephew was the same at your son's age! Have a lovely weekend, Sasha xxx

  3. What a great t-shirt and you've matched it perfectly with the skirt. Dinosaurs certainly are a fascinating interest to all young children & adults alike. My young Grandson is quite the "expert" and he sure would love those coloured toy ones.
