Lady in Red!

Hi Blog Friends!  How are you?  I hope you're happy and healthy.  It really is a weird state of limbo at the moment, isn't it?  On the one hand, the schools are open, so life almost feels like things are returning to normal, but on the other hand, my work hasn't re-opened yet due to covid-19 health concerns!  There are some businesses and members of the public that seem to be enacting strict social distancing practices and others seem not to care at all!  It is such a confusing time!  At least during these unstable times, there is always fashion!  Being creative and wearing bright and colourful outfits, adds joy to my day.  It is something that we have control over and something that can bring us comfort in a weary world.

Red has been the colour I've worn quite a lot of recently.  Red symbolizes strength, determination, passion and love.  It is the perfect colour for these times!  Here are two red outfits I've worn very recently.  Hope you love them!๐Ÿ’“๐Ÿ’“

  1. You are certainly correct that red is a bright uplifting colour & red seems to really suit you. I like that in your wardrobe you have every item in red. Shoes, earrings, bags, brooches as well tops, skirts, jackets etc. I really love your shoes in no.2. They are so cute.Flossie xxx

  2. That red skirt in the second outfit is so cute on you - I love it! :)

I've noticed I have been wearing a lot of red lately too - I wonder if I've been drawn to it for the reasons you listed? I have been trying to be more colourful with my winter outfits too so that may be it as well, but it's been a lot more red than I would normally wear this time of year! :)

It is so strange with so few people following the rules. I was out today and had to show them my phone, they were very careful not to touch it and get me to put it on the table so they could look at it there....but then they touched my card so I tried not to laugh then. I think we are all figuring out the rules as we go, it's all changed so much! My kids are loving being back at school (and kindy!) though!

Thanks so much for joining the #WeekdayWearLinkup!

  3. Hello Sasha! I do agree with you that things are rather confusing, and we see things happening at both ends of the scale. Shops and now also restaurants have reopened here as well, all with the necessary restrictions on social distancing. But while some places are super organized and perfect examples of how it should be, others don't seem to take it that seriously. Also, I'm still not working full time, as our business is suffering from the restrictions on international flights, and our main clients are in South America, where the situation isn't all that well at the moment. But I do agree too that there's always fashion to take our minds off things. Wearing red is very empowering, and the colour really suits you too. I've been drooling over your wonderful accessories, especially the brooches. That first one is absolutely gorgeous! I hope your week is going well, Sasha! xxx

  5. Love all our outfits.. red is such a great color. The fox brooch is so cute.
We are currently discussing how the schools with reopen in September, the measures that will need to be taken etc. Do your children have to wear masks at school?
Our state has been very good and strict about a mask being mandate inside all businesses and whenever social distancing can not be maintained.
