Purple Haze

The weather is all over the place at the moment, so some days it's hard to know what to wear!  The mornings are still cold, but if there's no breeze, by lunch time it's lovely and warm outside in the sun.  I am by no means complaining about the weather though, as living in a sub-tropical climate means most of the year is hot, so any cooler weather is welcome in my book!  

Wearing layers is the key here in winter, so you can strip down accordingly as the day progresses!  For this outfit, I initially had a jacket on when I left the house, but soon it was shed so my kimono could be seen!

I was feeling in a purpley mood (whatever that means!😂) and was excited to wear my new accessories for the first time.  I only bought the necklace and earrings last week.  Also, I recently bought another pair of Hot Chocolate Design shoes in tie dye.  Aren't the colours gorgeous?!  My inner hippie was so happy wearing these shoes!  Peace, love & new shoes! Ha!😂

    I'm am loving all of the purple - everything pairs so nicely with your beautiful kimono! :) It is such strange weather, was so cold this morning but the days as you say are lovely and warm. Definitely a layering kind of week I think!

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
