My new pink button necklace!

We're back!  

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.  In the next few posts I'll be featuring some of the new accessories I received as Christmas presents.

One of the most unusual new additions to my accessory collection is this cool and funky pink button necklace.  Mum bought it for me at a craft market that she volunteered at.  I love it! It's the first button necklace in my accessory collection and  I have a feeling it won't be the last!  I so admire whoever made this necklace: it's so cute and quirky!

I just love handmade jewellery and admire the talented artisans who craft these unique items!  I wish I was good at crafts and making things, but my skill only extends to buying (and receiving) these gorgeous creations!

    You're looking fabulous in that outfit, accessorized with your new necklace. What a wonderful gift! It really is beautifully made. Next to vintage items, I love anything handmade, and craft markets are the best for one-off, original accessories. I do wish I had the time and talent.     I always appreciate people who can create clothes/accessories, or who add their own artistry to them, but I'm not that person. Like you, Sasha, I enjoy buying the work of others! That is one fabulous pink necklace - your mom knows you well!

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
