The skirt:


This skirt is an oldie but a goodie!  So oldie in fact that I have no idea where it was bought!😱

It's comfy, has pockets and I love the colours and pattern.  I've had it so long that I've started experimenting a bit with tops and accessories to pair with it.  

Here are three ways that I've worn this skirt recently:

    Fierce competition between you and Amber! It's a very pretty necklace, so I'll be giving you both equal points ;-) The skirt is a lovely pattern, and it's a bonus that it has pockets, too. I love it best with the Hippies tee-shirt. It seems you've got quite a collection of bags too! xxx

    Oh that's such a beautiful skirt, you really can't go wrong either way! :) I think the second outfit is my favourite though, just because I love all of the colours! I only have a couple of skirts like this left in my wardrobe, I wish I would wear them more often as they are so pretty and a nice change from maxi skirts!

    Hope you are having a great week! I'm looking forward to my busy week before Christmas, after we had a relaxing weekend with some beach time on Sunday!

    It is great to have an item of clothing that you can make into different outfits. All three are nice but I guess my favourite would be number 3 as I do like t-shirts with statements on them. Amber sure is a photographers dream.

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
