Happy Hummingbirds!

One of my favourite knit tops is this hummingbird one, that I last wore on the blog here.  In the last few weeks I've had quite a bit of wear out of it, as the weather is in between seasons at the moment, so this top is the perfect choice to keep warm but without overheating.

More importantly, I just love the colours and print in this top and how soft and comfy it is!  Each time I wear this top, I like to pair it with a different bottom and of course, with different accessories!  There really are so many outfit combinations possible with this pretty knit.  Another thing I love about wearing this top, is that other people seem to love it too!  It's so nice to get compliments, isn't it?😉

In the first outfit, I chose to pair it with my purple skirt and added red accessories.

Outfit 1:
Top: Caroline Morgan
Skirt: Skallyrags
Shoes: Neko Chocolaticas by Hot Chocolate Design

Necklace: bought at op shop
Ring: Diva
Bag: Rockmans

In the second outfit, I paired it with my khaki maxi skirt.  Although it's hard to tell all of the colours on the hummingbird print, there is a khaki shade.  I chose to highlight it by adding similar colour accessories.

Outfit 2:
Top: Caroline Morgan
Skirt: Crossroads
Shoes: Instep

Necklace: bought at pop-up store
Ring: Lovisa
Bag: GUESS

In the third outfit, I wore it with my orange ombre skirt.  I've had a lot of wear out of this skirt lately and thought it would match the orange in the print nicely.

Outfit 3:
Top: Caroline Morgan
Skirt: Skallyrags
Shoes: Instep

 Necklace: Rockmans
Ring: Diva
Bag: Rockmans

Which outfit do you like the best?  Let me know!  I'd love to hear from you!

  1. It is a beautiful top - I can see why you get so many compliments when you wear it! So hard to pick a favourite, but perhaps the ombre skirt, I have a similar ombre maxi skirt and it's perfect in summer!

The weather has been so strange - still needing layers in the morning but shedding them in the afternoon, ha!

Hope you're having a lovely start to your week :)

  2. We're in between seasons here too, only you're going the right way and we're not. We've got quite nice weather for the moment but soon it'll be time to get out the long sleeved jumpers! Your hummingbird top is gorgeous and I'm not surprised people like it! My favourite outfit is the one with the orange ombre skirt, and I love the necklace you're wearing with it too! Have a great week, Sasha! xxx

  3. I love when a pattern has a lot of colours that work for matching - you get so much more wear out of it. Great mixings here, Sasha. The first and last outfits are my favourite. I like the khaki with it too, but it feels like a bit too much neutral - more pops of colour!

Have a fabulous week, and give that Amber girl a snuggle.

  4. Isn't it amazing how many different outfits you can wear with the one top. My favourite outfit is hard for me to decide but I like no 3. Flossie xxx
