Raspberry Fizz & Electric Blue with a cherry on top!

Don't you love the names of colours given to items of clothing?  The colour of this top is raspberry fizz and the skirt is called electric blue!  How fabulous, right?!  This was my first time to pair this top and skirt together.  I love the vibrancy of the top and skirt individually, so I knew that pairing them together would make a very vivid and vibrant outfit!  I don't often put together two solid colours to make an outfit.  I never really embraced the whole colour blocking trend.  I usually prefer to pair a print with a solid colour, but it was fun to pair these brights together for a change.  That's what fashion is all about, right?

I loved this skirt so much, that I wore it a second time this week.  This time I chose to wear it with a cherry print top.  You know how much I like things to match, so I couldn't resist accessorising with my cherry earrings and shoes!

    As always I find it hard to decide which outfit I like best. When I saw no.1 I thought how great the two bold colours go together but when I saw no.2 with the cherries and I changed my mind, so no.2 it is. Flossiexx

    I love both outfits! I really like the turquoise accessories in the first outfit with the bold tee and skirt. I need to get better at mixing colours in my outfits, unless it's blue and pink and purple I tend to just stick to wearing two colours at a time, haha! Not very adventurous!

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
