Professional Dreamer

How cute is the top I'm wearing in the first outfit?  I actually bought it in the sleepwear section!  I love sloths and I'm a dreamer, so buying this tee was a no-brainer!  The slogan is cute, but it also resonated with me at a deeper level.  

I'm doing post-graduate study so that I can start a new and meaningful career.  It's not easy and by the time I complete my studies, I'll be 44 years old.  Some people I've told this to, have said that I'm crazy to be starting a new career at this age and that I'm too old!  To them, I say, while I am breathing, I will never be too old to dream, to study, to create and to live my life.  I will not be brought down by other people's negativity.  

Now, to the clothes!  In the first outfit, I chose to wear one of my favourite maxi skirts.  I chose to add some whimsical unicorn accessories to complete the outfit.

In the second outfit, I wore the same skirt but this time paired it with a blue top, red accessories and gorgeous Frida Kahlo bag.

    Good for you not worrying about other peoples opinions regarding change of direction career wise. This skirt is very adaptable with different colours .I like the royal blue on you but there again, all colours suit you. Flossie xx

    I love your positive attitude, Sasha! I went back to university as a "mature" student when I was in my 30s, and have never regretted it. It is never too late to change your life! Good for you! I'm really proud of you!

Eclectic September!
