Wearing Florals in Winter

I cannot believe it is already halfway through August already!  How is that possible?  Speaking of the impossible, my beautiful son just turned nine years old!  How is that possible?  Life just keeps moving fast.  As the truly wise (haha!) Ferris Bueller said:

 "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it"  

With spring just around the corner, one cannot help but think of florals, despite Miranda Priestly's misgivings! Having said that, I do wear florals all year round and especially enjoy wearing them when it is cold and gloomy.  This past week has really been a four seasons in one day kind of week!  It's been cold, windy, sunny, warm, rainy and foggy!  The outfits in this post were worn before the cold and windy snap the past few days.  It's been way too gusty to wear midi skirts with bare legs the last few days! Haha!

I do love this top from H&M!  It reminds me of Japan and I feel happy wearing it.  It was fun to accessorise with my floral earrings, red bag and fun black and red shoes.

This thrifted bag would have to be one of the best finds ever! It was brand new with tags on it and so reasonably priced!  What a bargain!

    Such cute skirts! And yes, what is with the weather? The Ekka winds are definitely here! The boys have the sniffles so we won't be going to the Ekka, the baby got really sick last year and had to go to hospital so I'm being very careful with them this year!

    Happy birthday to your son - amazing that he's 9 already, wow! Time flies!

    Florals are for all seasons, never mind that horrible Miranda Priestly! Your first outfit is my favourite. Love that top and those shoes are divine. And what a fun bag, rings and earrings! Eclectic September!

Hi Blog Mates!  I have missed you!  September has been a completely frantic and chaotic month, which unfortunately has meant my blog has had to take a back seat lately.  I apologise for being so behind with my comments on your blogs too!  I asked Amber to do that for me, but she said she was too busy sleeping and being beautiful!😹 Anyway, on to the outfits!  I had planned on spreading out the below outfits across a few different posts, but now that the end of the month has come, I thought I'd put them together into one eclectic mix of colours and styles!   Outfit 1: Top: Kmart Pants: Rockmans Shoes: Rivers Necklace: Millers Mum bought me this gorgeous bangle in the UK last year and a few weeks ago I found earrings that match perfectly at my local Lovisa store!
