Summer Skirts!

This summer I have pretty much lived exclusively in tops and skirts!  Most of the skirts that I own, I've had for years.  I still enjoy wearing them, but it was great to buy some new skirts recently! The skirts in outfit 1 and 3 are from my favourite store in the whole world!  What I love about it, is that the guy that owns the place sources the material and sews each garment by hand locally in Byron Bay.  Also, each item of clothing only has a handful of each design, so you're pretty unlikely to run into your doppelganger at the school drop-off!😂

Outfit 1:
Top: Rockmans
Cardi: Katies
Skirt: Skallyrags
Shoes: Holster

Bag: Cadelle Leather

Outfit 2:
Top: Sussan
Skirt: Autograph
Shoes: Gino Ventori
Earrings: Lovisa

Necklace: thrifted

Ring: Byron Bay Gems
Bangles: Lovisa
Bag: Pocket full of sunshine
How awesome is this Flintstones bag?  I bought it from a local pop-up shop that sells all handmade local wares.  I couldn't resist this unique bag made from old sheets!  Wilma!!!!😂

Outfit 3:
Top: Cotton On
Skirt: Skallyrags
Shoes: Birkenstock
Earrings: Erstwilder

Ring & Bangle: Diva
Bag: Cadelle Leather

Speaking of skirts, I recently met up with Mica (see her blog link below!), who was wearing a gorgeous maxi skirt!

  1. Such a great pic to share of us! I had so much fun meeting up even if I realised later I wore the same skirt as last time, haha! It is a fave of mine, who can fault a $3 opshop find! :)

I really like your red skirt as well, but the blue tie dye one is my favourite. I bought a kimono with a blue tie dye print just like this in the sales recently, wore it yesterday and it reminded me tie-dye will never go out of fashion for me - I need more pieces of it in my wardrobe I think, a dress and kimono is not enough!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend! We went to a theme park yesterday with family visiting from Western Australia and it was so fun :)

  3. I've also been embracing more skirts lately, they are, after all, the most versatile garments ever, to be reinvented differently with each wear. My favourite here is the first one, with its die-dye effect, and it looks gorgeous with the plain blue tee and crocheted vest. As for your second outfit, how fabulous is that Flintstone bag! I'm sure meeting up with Mica was a highlight, and yes, I am loving her maxi skirt too! xxx

  4. Hi Sasha, this is my 3rd attempt at a comment but I have to try again. I really love your outfit no.1 as it gives an impression of cool in hot temps. However I really, really love the Flintstones handbag and I'll be searching everywhere to purchase one for myself. It was nice to see you meeting up with another blogger. Flossie xxxx
