Colourful in Coral!

Hi Blog Friends!  How are you?  I hope you are all happy and healthy.  I mentioned a few posts ago that I recently discovered a fantastic brand called Isle of Summer, that is based here in Brisbane.  The clothing is absolutely gorgeous and really appeals to my boho aesthetic.  All of the designs are by Australian designers and are ethically made in Indonesia from sustainable fabrics.  I love everything about this label!  Many of my upcoming posts will feature this brand's clothing, because I have bought quite a lot recently!  It is a really great feeling to wear clothing that is not only beautiful, but ethically made and environmentally friendly.

I've been wearing some of these beautiful pieces even when homeschooling and lazing about at home.  That's because I am sick of wearing my dull and drab "round-the-house" clothing!  It really does feel great to dress-up for no particular reason sometimes, doesn't it?  It helps to put a smile on my dial and makes me feel more positive.

The last few days have been a bit cooler, which is so nice!  It is finally feeling like Autumn!  As much as I love the summer, it is nice to not feel hot and sweaty!  Bring on the cool, I say!! I do love that the winters never get particularly cold here though, so I can still wear the same clothes from season to season.  I just need to add a cardi or denim jacket in the cooler months and I'm done!

Without further ado, here are my colourful coral outfits!

  1. Once again I'm having difficulties in deciding which outfit I like the best. Usually I'm a very decisive person but not when it comes to choosing your best outfit. I really like you can make several outfits using the same basics. This is perfect fir travelling but I guess we won't be doing that for sometime. Anyway no 1 is my choice as the outfit is a burst of colour. You are to be praised using local industry as at this time so many small businesses owners are struggling. Flossie xxx

  2. Oh both of these are beautiful pieces! they look so good together and apart too! I was looking at their shrugs, they have some green ones on sale at the moment I was tempted by but couldn't decide on the length, this cropped one looks so nice on you! :)

I've been in pyjamas and loungewear most of the time, although I guess that will all change next week now the schools are open again and I'll have to actually get dressed for the school run!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend :)

  4. Dressing up always makes one feel better. There doesn't need to be a particular reason for it. As my friend Vix says, a day not dressed up is a day wasted! The print on your maxi skirt and cropped shrug is simply amazing, and the colours are instant pick-me-ups! And you have certainly proved their versatility with the outfits you've created. I particularly love the final look. That shrug is just perfect with the jeans! xxx
