Do you consider yourself to be adventurous? What does it mean to you to be adventurous? Has the meaning of adventurous changed for you as you've grown older? The other day I was out shopping with the family and noticed a new play area for kids, with hot air balloons painted on the walls. After a quick family game of table tennis in which I truly sucked, the images of hot air balloons got me thinking about adventures and what it means to be adventurous. I've never been adventurous in the extreme activities kind of way, such as partaking in skydiving, bungee jumping or even hot air ballooning! I've never been interested in the first two activities, but I would like to ride in a hot air balloon and float up, up and away into the sky! In my twenties, I was adventurous in terms of travel and exploring new places. I moved to Japan for two years when I was twenty one and travelled all around Japan (and other parts of Asi...
Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different! The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe! When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts! So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time! I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often. Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Outfit 1: Top: H&M Crochet ca...
Can you believe it is almost the end of February? I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over! This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week. I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet! I really need to get organised! In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years! I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top. I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment. They're so pretty! The outfit: Top: H & M Skirt: Tree of Life Sandals: Gino Ventori Necklace: Diva I've had these beads for so many years now, but I never tire of wearing them! They add a bit of colour and cheer to every outfit. Bag: Marikai This bag is a new ...
