I love a colourful and quirky statement necklace.  Nothing can turn an outfit from drab to fab so easily!  One of my favourite statement necklaces is this owl one from Erstwilder (not a sponsored post!).  It's great quality and I love the colours (and owls) so it was a fabulous choice by Mum to buy this for my birthday back in December 2017: thanks Mum!😉

Sometimes I build my outfit around a statement necklace like this one and other times I'll add it at the last minute just to add more colour and character to my outfit.  I love how sometimes if I don't know what to wear and I default to black, just by adding a necklace like this one is enough to add some pizzazz to an otherwise boring ensemble.  Wearing necklaces like this make me feel more me, if that makes sense!

    Love that necklace! It looks great in both outfits.

    I totally get what you mean about an accessory making you feel like 'you' - I feel that with my bags! :) I don't have such a fun statement necklace, but I do have a few :)

    Hope that you had a good weekend! We had a relaxing one here, all trying to recover from that winter bug we caught!

    The owl necklace is very unusual & the colors match perfectly with both outfits. I'm like you in that I feel uplifted when adding a necklace or bangle or scarf or handbag etc. The list is endless!! I must make an effort to find necklaces to go with winter outfits as on wet winter days it will lift your spirits.

Eclectic September!
