Too Cold For Cardigans!

I wore this outfit last week before the cold snap.  It is now officially cold!  All of Australia is experiencing a cold snap at the moment and the ski resorts in the southern states have been covered in fresh powdery snow.  Although it's nowhere near that cold where I live, it is definitely too cold for just a cardigan now!  

Today it was the coldest day we've had so far and I needed to layer up.  For some reason every year winter here sneaks up on me and I suddenly find myself shivering one morning!  It's because the climate here is subtropical, so the heat is to be expected but cold days still take me by surprise!

So here is my last non-rugged up outfit for June!

    I love the green pops with the black and white! It's crazy how suddenly cold it has gotten! I'm still unsure what I'm going to wear tomorrow, I had an outfit planned but now I'm not sure it's warm enough, ha!

    Hope that you had a great weekend! Was a quiet one here as we were all a bit unwell unfortunately. Feeling better today though! :)

    I really like the way you've matched the green with the black & white. I guess it is hard to predict the weather daily at this time of the year. I really like the color of the cardi. Keep warm, Flossie

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
