Bright Tops & Multi-Print Skirts

Well, thankfully, my internet is up and running again now!  Yay!  I hate to be without it, especially since discovering the wonderful world of blogging!  

As summer continues on, so does my wearing of bright and bold colours!  I really have embraced wearing colour again this summer and have rarely worn my old default black top with every skirt/pants.  For the most part anyway, black just looks and feels too hot in this weather and frankly, just isn't as fun as wearing bright colours! 

In the first outfit, I paired my multi-print skirt with my hot pink top.  For someone who used to be afraid of wearing colour on top (for fear it drew too much attention to my bust), I sure have had quite a lot of wear out of this hot pink top!  In fact, I'm pretty sure that hot pink is as far from black as possible! As for my fear of drawing attention to my  big bust and stomach, well, even if I wear black they're still big, so why not just enjoy wearing bright colours anyway?  Right?  

This was the first time using my new bag, purchased recently on sale.  I just love the teal colour and it's the first bag in this shade that I've ever owned.  It has a few compartments inside and fits all my stuff in it, so it's a winner in my book!

Outfit 1:

In the second outfit, I paired another multi-print skirt with a yellow top and blue vest.  I really love yellow and blue together.  It is such a pretty colour combination and one I've only tried since I started blogging!  Yay for getting inspiration from other bloggers from all around the world!  

I chose to accessorise in yellow, with my yellow earrings, shoes and bag.  My fabulous toucan bag has had a lot of use this summer!  It really is the perfect fun and vibrant summery bag!

    Wow I really love the bright top in no.1. It's pleasing to know blogging has helped you experiment with different styles & colours. You certainly have lots of wonderful handbags & your new one meets the standard. Also am pleased Amber is okay again after her vacation. Flossie xxc

    Well done for embracing colour this Summer, Sasha! It does look so much better than plain old black, doesn't it? Your first outfit just sparkles, it's so vibrant. Love your new teal bag! I think pink and teal are such a happy marriage of colours. In fact, I wore a pink and teal outfit myself today! Your second outfit is perfect too, especially with the addition of Toucan bag! Good to see Amber again, Phoebe has missed her! xxx

    I love how you embrace colour - definitely keep doing it! I believe we should always wear what we want, no matter the rules! I didn't wear maxi lengths for so long as I believed you 'shouldn't' if you were petite - how silly! I love maxis! :)

    It's so hard to pick a favourite outfit too! I love blue and yellow and blue and pink and you wear both colour combos so well! :)

    Hope that you are having a wonderful weekend :) With the summer heatwave continuing, today will be a quiet day in the aircon I think! Too humid for the park!

    Yes I have been trying to wear more color myself and most specially during FW. Darker colors and black do not photographer well. This is a fun top and skirt for sure! Love the color.

Eclectic September!
