I don't really wear stripes. I know they are a so called "fashion staple", but I've never really liked wearing them. I've recently become brooch obsessed and surprisingly fell in love with this striped kitty brooch at first sight! It then got me thinking about what I could wear it with. After a thorough inspection of my wardrobe contents, I discovered the perfect skirt to match with my new kitty brooch! I wasn't sure which colour top to pair it with but I thought I'd try something new: pale blue. I think the colours work well together. I pretty much love every colour there is. Colours are beautiful, vibrant and bring joy to a sometimes dreary world.  Pink is a colour I love but rarely actually wear.  I love pink accessories but actually only own two items of pink clothing: the top and the skirt below!  The skirt is an oldie but still a goodie! The top is quite new but already a firm favourite. I've always loved orange and blue together, but today I thought I would try orange and green together. Why not?! Really I think any colour combinations go these days.  I'm all for wearing whatever makes you smile and this new combination made me feel that winter is over and spring has definitely sprung!! How do you choose what to wear everyday? Do you just grab something randomly or do you plan in advance? I tend to choose based on mood! More specifically, colour or colours that I am in the mood to wear.  Today was a "blue" day! I don't often wear all of the one colour together as I tend to gravitate towards multi-coloured outfits, but sometimes I like to stick with a colour theme! I love every shade of blue ranging from light to dark, so an outfit based around blue is fun to wear! I love the combination of blue and white together, with a hint of silver! As I've mentioned before, boho style is my absolute favourite. I love the colours, the textures and vibrancy of the clothing and accessories. I've been lucky enough to travel quite a bit and have picked up some gorgeous treasures along the way! I've also picked up some great things from the local shops and markets too! Anything colourful, quirky and unique will always catch my eye! This skirt was no exception! The skirt: Made in Nepal, bought at local markets. I really love clothes and accessories with any kind of flora or fauna on it! The brighter and quirkier the better! I recently purchased this hummingbird top and I love its colours and style.
