Styling blue, white and silver

How do you choose what to wear everyday? Do you just grab something randomly or do you plan in advance?

I tend to choose based on mood! More specifically, colour or colours that I am in the mood to wear.  Today was a "blue" day! I don't often wear all of the one colour together as I tend to gravitate towards multi-coloured outfits, but sometimes I like to stick with a colour theme! I love every shade of blue ranging from light to dark, so an outfit based around blue is fun to wear! I love the combination of blue and white together, with a hint of silver!

    I agree that sometimes it is a last minute decision on what colour to wear and then stay with matching that colour. I like your choices as I think most people look good in blue. I love the skirt.

    I usually put together outfit pieces (top, bottom, shoes) on Sunday evening - I'll always try to incorporate any new pieces I've purchased, as I like to wear them right away. I consider my week: what events do I have, what's the weather going to be like, etc., then just group my items and put them on one of the bars in my closet.

    The night before, I look at what I've put together and pick what I feel like wearing the next day, and pull out all the accessories that I need.

      Thank you, Sheila! I also love wearing new purchases straight away! I like the idea of planning ahead of time by pulling out the accessories the night before. I hate it when I'm getting ready and can't find the accessories I had in mind! XXX

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
