Somewhere, over the rainbow....
After a stressful week, I felt like wearing something very bright and cheerful! The dress is sleeveless, so I added the black shrug/cardi to provide coverage.
My university study is stressful and I've thought of quitting several times already and it's only been a month! It's hard not to be overwhelmed. Wearing bright and colourful rainbow clothing and accessories is a good way to project an external image of fun and cheer. Others then perceive you to be in a happy mood, so then you can fake it till you make it!!😉
The outfit:
Dress: Present from Mum (Hawaii)
Shrug/cardi: Crossroads
Shoes: Holster
Ring: Bold Ray Designs
Bag: Rockmans
Bangle: Bought at Op-shop a few weeks ago. Isn't the pattern groovy?!😉
Somewhere, over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

This colorful outfit really does bring out a cheerful vibe. You should show a photo without the shrug as I'm sure any thoughts of cover up are unnecessary. I do really like the outfit you have put together and hope that it helps make you feel happy.

DeleteGood luck with the uni study! I know how hard it is, I do not enjoy studying at all so I was glad when my course was over, haha!
