Embroidered Top & Orange Ombre Skirt

Another day, another skirt from Byron Bay!  I love to wear new clothes as soon as possible, so I was excited to wear my new orange ombre skirt!  I love the shades of orange in this skirt and the fabric is so light and floaty.  

I chose to pair it with an embroidered top and add lots of orange accessories, including the new orange earrings I bought in Byron Bay!  I think this skirt will be really versatile and I'm sure I'll be getting lots of wear out of it.

    That is such a beautiful ombre skirt! I love how you accessorised it. I have a peach and orange ombre maxi dress - I should give it a wear again before autumn arrives (although I'm starting to think it never will, ha!)


    Hope you have had a great weekend! We had a quiet one to recover from being unwell last week. Hoping for a quiet week this week too!

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
