Real Life with Fun Backgrounds!

I hadn't planned on taking any blog photos on the day these were taken.  I wasn't wearing any make-up or anything new or exciting, but when the family and I visited this shopping centre down the Gold Coast for the first time recently, I loved the different murals and artwork throughout, that I couldn't resist taking photos!  Each background was located in a busy thoroughfare so the photos were taken extremely quickly!  No time to check lighting, apply lippy or do creative poses!

As I said, it wasn't an outfit I considered particularly "blog worthy" but then again, I'm just a regular person living a regular life and these clothes reflect that!  Plus, what exactly is considered "blog worthy" for a non-celebrity 41 year old Aussie woman living in the suburbs??  I'm not exactly living the high-life!!

Anyway, here's the outfit!

The Outfit:
Top: Sussan
Skirt: Crossroads
Shoes: Hippie Chocolaticas by HCD
Necklace: Rockmans
Bag: Just Jeans

Here's the necklace:

Amber: "She may think she doesn't live the high life, but I sure do!  I sleep most of the day, get groomed, have a play, get to model necklaces and get loads of cuddles!  This is the life!"

  1. I like the way you have incorporated the back drops into your blog. Your skirt is very versatile that's for sure. Amber has the good life and she certainly knows it, so it seems. Good for her. Flossie xxx

  2. I'ts great you got to enjoy some murals for a different backdrop! I'm loving your outfit too! I'm of the belief if you wear it it's blog worthy! Even if you don't like it, it can be helpful having recorded why you don't like it! I wanted to pair some similar pieces together tomorrow and I remembered being less than enthused the first time I tried a similar combination so I went back in my blog to see why and so I could do it a little differently this time! :)

Hope that you have had a wonderful weekend! We went on our annual girls pre-Christmas shopping trip yesterday, finished buying all our Christmas gifts and had some fun together :) We were actually on the coast! Didn't see any murals though!

  3. Those backdrops are gorgeous, I wouldn't have been able to resist posing against them either. Your outfit is lovely too and certainly blog-worthy! Your skirt has certainly proven its worth and as usual your accessorizing (necklace, shoes) is perfect. Have a lovely week, Sasha! xxx
