Merry Christmas 2018!

Merry Christmas!  These photos were actually taken earlier today on Christmas Day at my parents' house.  It's been beautiful weather today and we're all full to the brim of ham, salads, mince pies and pavlova!  

I would just like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas full of joy and happiness.  I also want to thank you for visiting my blog.  For those of you who have looked at my blog, I thank you.  For those of you who have taken the time to leave a comment on my blog, I thank you so much.  I really appreciate you taking the time to leave me a comment.  I also want to give a shout out to Flossie, Mica and Ann for always leaving comments and supporting my blog.  I truly appreciate it and feel so lucky to have such fabulous blog buddies!

    Glad to hear you had a wonderful Christmas and that the weather behaved nicely for you. Can't get my head around Christmas in Summer, that is such a strange concept for me!     Christmas was busy but fun here as I hosted it this year for my family. Now we are enjoying some quiet time at home and eating lots of delicious leftovers, and I'm doing a little bit of blog reading after my break from blogging for a few days!

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
