The Joy of Beads

My last accessory purchase was last week at the end of June.  Nothing fancy or expensive, just some coloured chunky beads.  I do have a thing for beads though and I think you can never have too many!  I would much prefer loads of bright and colourful chunky necklaces to one expensive dainty one!

As you know, I'm going to give this 'No buy July' thing a go.  I think where I'll struggle most is with accessories, like this beaded necklace.  The necklace was only about $5, so I usually don't think twice about making such a small purchase!  Over time though, it adds up, so I will do my best for this month and hope it carries through into the following months.  No promises though!

I wore my new beads twice this week.  Here are the outfits!

Outfit 1:

Top: Sussan
Cardigan: Millers
Skirt: Crossroads
Shoes: Rivers
Bag: GUESS
Earrings & Ring: Lovisa
Necklace: Rockmans

Outfit 2:

Top: Sussan
Kimono: Woven Heart
Jeans: Rockmans
Shoes: Hot Chocolate Design
Bag: present from Mum
Earrings: Tattooed Zombie
Ring: H & M
Bracelet: Rockmans

  1. Your beaded necklace is beautiful! I love it in both outfits, the colours pair with so much!

Good luck with no buy July too! I'm trying to avoid the Shopbop sale, that's always the hardest part about no buy July. It's true too, you realise little purchases add up over time, it's nice to have the month to stop buying and just reflect!

Hope that you're having a great week so far! :)

  3. Love the beaded necklace, and you're so right: you can't have enough of them. Accessories can really make a world of difference to any outfit. I love the skirt you're wearing in your first outfit and that kimono in your second outfit is just fabulous. You really suit these more colourful outfits, Sasha! Have a great weekend xxx
