First Blogiversary!

For my first blogiversary, I thought it would be a fun time to do a best of "Who wore it better?" Now of course I know that Amber will win every time, but I'm ok with that!  I know that she is the star of the blog (and at home!)😂

I have really enjoyed blogging for the past year and have loved sharing my outfits and ideas with you.  The most wonderful thing about blogging has been making friends from all over the world!  Amber and I want to thank you so much for reading this blog and for all of your lovely comments.  We really appreciate your support.  We look forward to many more years of blogging and friendships!

    Congratulations on your first year of bloging or blogiversary as you say!! Now I guess I need to be honest and say it is about half and half with Amber but I'm thinking she can't read so won't know what I've said. I look forward to your next year of blogging.Flossie

    Such a fun way to wrap up your first year of blogging! congrats on reaching a wonderful blogging milestone, I hope you have many more years of blogging ahead! :)

    Hope you had a great weekend! We had a mix of busy time but also a little relaxing time too which was nice.

    Happy Blogoversary, Sasha! I give you the edge on these outfits, as Amber looks none too happy about some of them, and you always have a lovely smile! Amber does seem to have much more patience with wearing these than Vizzini - note how I've never put a necklace on him, lol! I value my necklaces, ha ha!

    Here's to another year of blogging and meeting new people! It's always an adventure, and I'm so pleased to have met you through blogs!

Do you consider yourself to be adventurous?  What does it mean to you to be adventurous?  Has the meaning of adventurous changed for you as you've grown older?   The other day I was out shopping with the family and noticed a new play area for kids, with hot air balloons painted on the walls.  After a quick family game of table tennis in which I truly sucked, the images of hot air balloons got me thinking about adventures and what it means to be adventurous.   I've never been adventurous in the extreme activities kind of way, such as partaking in skydiving, bungee jumping or even hot air ballooning!  I've never been interested in the first two activities, but I would like to ride in a hot air balloon and float up, up and away into the sky! Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
