Mid-Year Review

Well, half of 2018 is done with half to go!  Time seems to be going so fast this year!  As it is mid-year, I thought I would take a look at all of the outfits I've posted on the blog so far this year and choose the ones I like best for each month.  It's also a good time to go through my wardrobe to see what I've got, what new outfit combinations I can come up with and what I can donate.

Of course no review would be complete without Amber!  Amber looks purrfect in everything she wears, so it was hard for her to choose her favourites, as she insisted I include every photo ever taken of her!!

    I'm pleased you didn't ask me to decide which outfit I like the best as I think you look nice in every outfit. I'm thinking if you do go ahead with your no spend in July, you have plenty of opportunities to mix & match using your current outfits.It's nice to see Amber is back from her assignment!!

    Amber is so cute - as are you in your outfits! I like round-up posts like this as you get a lot of inspiration in one place! I need to try something like this at the end of the year I think! :)

    Like Flossie, I'm glad I don't have to choose a favourite, but I really love the black, white and green one from June. I do change my wardrobe twice a year, in April and October, and I'm having a review every time. I re-donate and give away anything that doesn't make the grade, and I'm keeping the best vintage pieces to sell at the yearly flea market held in our street! xxx

    All great outfits - you definitely have the knack for great patterns and details in your accessories, Sasha! Amber's are Purr-fect, of course!

    I am constantly culling my wardrobe, but I do a full swapover every 6 months, at the end of September and at the end of March, when I carefully go through everything and toss a bunch of things I'm done with.

    I love the bird print top! Amber is such a gorgeous kitty! My cat wouldn't let me put necklaces on him - I'd be picking up beads off the floor if I tried! Thanks for linking up!

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
