Monochromatic Monday!

I had planned to publish this post yesterday, but unfortunately due to a mini-crisis, I was unable to.  The mini-crisis was that when I tried to turn my mobile phone on yesterday, it wouldn't turn on.  I tried everything and it just wouldn't turn on!  I was in such a panic and worried I had lost all of my contacts, photos and downloads.  I ended up having to buy a new phone.  I was lucky enough to be able to restore my contacts and photos, but haven't yet been able to restore my previous texts, downloads and some other things.  

It's amazing how these unexpected technology mini-crises can throw you for a loop!  I guess my first concern was not being contactable via phone by my husband and son's school.  Then my second concern was the loss of my photos. Plus, I do all of my blogging on my phone!  I take my blog photos on my phone and write these posts on my phone!  That's why replacing my phone was such a priority, because blogging is so important to me!  It's the only fun thing I do that's just for me! Anyway, even though I still haven't been able to retrieve everything, at least I know I am reachable and can do my blog!  You just don't realise how much you rely on these devices, until you can't use them!  

Now, to the fun part: the outfit!  I felt like wearing blue and couldn't decide which shade of blue, so I thought I'd go with a bit of everything and create a monochromatic outfit!  It had been ages since I had worn this skirt.  I really love it's unique style and mix of patterns and prints.  This was also my first wear of my new beaded necklace.  I bought the same necklace in pink recently, which I wore here.

    Thanks so much for the shoutout! It was really fun catching up with you and we should definitely do it again in the school holidays! :) I loved the outfit you wore, and I really like your monochrome outfit too.

    How terrible your phone just broke like that! I am glad you could get a replacement one and you didn't lose too much. I'm considering a new phone for Christmas, but not sure, as I like the way everything works on this one (except the battery!) I wish they still made phones with the removable batteries so you could just keep reusing them!

      It has been a real pain with my phone! I still haven't found anyone who can fix it! I'm not too keen on the new one and the camera doesn't seem as good as the other one. Oh well! Hope you're having a great week. XXX

    I hate it when technology lets me down. We are so dependent on it, aren't we? I would be quite heart-broken if I lost any of my photos, and perish the thought that I couldn't blog! I did a back-up of all my photos recently, which has given me some peace of mind. As for your outfit, I love the meeting of all those blues. And how lovely to be able to meet up with a fellow blogger! xxx
