In The Garden!

I'm still kind of getting used to having to take blog photos outdoors to get decent photos!  I feel rather foolish posing for photos in my front yard!  Luckily my elderly neighbours haven't seen me posing yet, because they would think my husband and I are weird wandering around the garden trialling different poses and backdrops!  Although, they probably already think we're weird, so they might not be surprised at all! Ha! 

Although I am still looking for the perfect (and secluded!) backdrop to take blog photos, my garden was the perfect setting for this outfit, which features a bird print skirt and chunky flower ring!  This skirt is one of my all-time favourites.  I bought it several years ago in Japan and I just love the colours and the bird print.  I absolutely adore animal motifs on clothing and this skirt is no exception!

I decided to pair it with a plain navy tee and added tan shoes, a tan bag and my vibrant pink beads and chunky rose ring.  I therefore couldn't resist posing next to the one lone rose in our garden!

I've had to recycle these Amber photos for now, as I haven't been able to take any new ones inside yet.  Amber is an indoor cat, so unfortunately I can't get any cute shots of her frolicking in the garden with me!  Ha! In my local area there is a lot of native fauna, including koalas and possums, so she has been raised indoors, so that she doesn't harm the wildlife.  Rest assured she gets lots of exercise chasing my son (& the other way around!) and of course when she is modelling for the blog!  Ha!

    I think your phone drama has been not all bad, as I like the fact that you are experimenting with your locations. It's nice to showcase your outfits outside. Amber is probably peeking through the windows & wondering what is happening. Flossie xxx

    It's great you are having fun trying to find new photo spots and making the most of the less than perfect camera on your phone - it really does take good pics outside!

    That's such a cute skirt too, I like the pink with it! :)

Eclectic September!
