Summer Vibes!

Well, summer has truly arrived here in Brisbane, Australia!  It is currently 32 degrees celsius and I have cranked up the aircon to make it more bearable inside the house!  I just can't believe summer is here again already and that we are now in the final month of the year!  How can it possibly be December?  There are only two weeks of school left and then my son will be on school holidays for six weeks!  I can't believe he's almost finished grade two!  Since he started school, time really has flown by.

Another sign of summer, is when our neighbour's frangipani tree flowers start to bloom. In the last couple of weeks they seem to have suddenly appeared and it's previously bare and sad looking branches are now covered in vibrant yellow and white sweet smelling flowers (see photos below).

In this post I thought I'd share two outfits that I wore in the past week.  For the first outfit, I couldn't resist picking up a frangipani that had fallen and placing it behind my ear!  I figure that although I'm not actually on holidays, I can at least add some summery fun vibes to my look! ;)

  1. The frangipani is a cute touch! I was so sad when our neighbours cut down their frangipani tree - it was right near our fence and often flowers fell into our yard, but we didn't mind!

Got the aircon blasting here too - I can't believe it is December already, although the weather certainly won't let us think it's anything other than summer, haha! I'm hoping the heatwave dies down a little soon, our aircon is not so powerful!

Hope that you have a nice weekend ahead of you! Going to be a quiet and relaxing one here, we will be putting our Christmas tree up :)

    1. Thanks so much, Mica! Shame about your neighbour's frangipani tree. I also don't mind that the flowers fall in our yard! They smell so good! ;) We still haven't put up our Christmas tree yet, but we will this weekend. Hope you're having a great week! XXX

  2. What a good idea to include the frangipani in your blog. I like the bright colours in the outfits you have chosen also. However, as there are no photos of Amber, I'm wondering if she is inside refusing to move from under the air conditioner? Flossie xxx

  3. Two wonderful Summer outfits, Sasha. I have a slight preference for the first one as it features my favourite colour, green! Adding the frangipani flower is a sweet touch and makes you look quite exotic. I'm swooning over the bag you're wearing with your second outfit! Have a great weekend, Sasha xxx
