Boho maxi skirt styled 4 ways!

The skirt:

Crossroads

This is one of my favourite skirts to wear in summer.  I love the colours and patterns and it's cool and breezy floaty fabric.  I usually wear this skirt with a plain black or navy blue top (like in outfit 4).  I thought I would play dress-up and try pairing some different tops with this skirt! 

Outfit 1:

It was fun to try out some different ways of wearing the same skirt.  I still feel most comfortable in outfit 4, but I also like outfit 3 too.

    I like outfit 2 - I like how the stripes go with the pattern of the skirt. That's some advanced pattern-mixing! Good job! Does Amber scoot under your long skirts? Vizzini likes to do that.

      Thanks so much, Sheila! Yay! I'm so happy you think so because that was my first time to really try pattern-mixing! Yay! ;) Amber doesn't really worry about my long skirts anymore, but she used to bite at them when I was walking down the hallway! Ha! XXX

    I really like your skirt as it certainly very versatile. My choice of outfit? I like them all but really love the top in no. 3 so I guess my favorite is that one.

    That's a beautiful skirt! It looks great all 4 ways you've worn it but the blue embroidered top is my favourite, I just love that top with it! :) Your cute cat helps make it a favourite too, haha!

    Hope that 2018 is going well for you! We've been enjoying the warmer weather with some pool time, as it has been a particularly humid summer so far the pool has been a good idea!

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
