Successful Saturday Shopping!

Saturday was so much fun and highly successful in terms of shopping purchases!  First, I headed to South Bank in Brisbane to check out the markets there.  It was an absolutely beautiful summer's day, so I thought I would take some photos out and about!

The outfit:

Top: Sussan
Skirt: Sirocco
Shoes: Chocolaticas

The accessories:

Present from M

Bold Ray Designs

What I bought at the markets:

The Earring Shack Australia

Then after the markets, I headed to one of the Salvation Army Super Stores.  This was my first time to visit this amazing op-shop!  All of the op-shops in my local area don't have much in the way of clothing and accessories, but have an abundance of books, toys and furniture.  None of which I am interested in buying!

Imagine my delight when I arrived at the Super Store and found it actually had heaps of awesome clothing, bags and accessories!

Here is what I bought:

This is my fave purchase! I love the style and colours of this bag and it's in great condition.  Plus it was only $4!

I had been looking for a dark green bag, so this was a great find.  It still has it's original tags on and is in great condition.  A great deal for $10!

I actually remember seeing this bag in a shop a few years ago for about $50.  I really liked it but thought that it was too expensive.  This bag is missing a few beads here and there but for $7 it was a bargain!

I love the style of this bag and the shiny red/orange feature colour.  It's by Nine West and was only $6.

How cool is this cuff?!

I've never seen anything like this cuff before! I absolutely love it!  It's actually quite heavy so I'm not sure what it's made out of.  It was only $4, which is fantastic!

I also bought a skirt, which I will wear in a future post.

It was really fun to have such a positive op-shopping experience this weekend, because it had been ages since I had been to such a good one. I will definitely be visiting this store again and plan to search out some more super stores!

Thank you for visiting my blog! XXX

  1. What a haul you had at the Op-Shop. I'm particularly loving the floral print bag. The cuff is really special too. And wow, those earrings from the market are fabulous! As for your outfit, blue really suits you. xxx

  2. You certainly did very well at the Op-Shop. The handbags are all very nice but I think I like the red/orange shiny one the best. The outfit was nice as well but what I really did like was the fact that you incorporated some photos of the natural surroundings which I found very lovely. The ear-rings were great also and well, I've not seen a cuff like that even though I've visited New York many times. It would be remiss of me to not mention how cute Amber looks in "her" necklace.
