Colour Combo: Purple, Black & Blue!

I went op-shopping again the other day and had so much fun! It wasn't as successful as my last op-shopping expedition, but I enjoyed having a good look around! I did pick up this great purple and black bag though, which is in great condition and is nicely lined inside.  I also bought a great skirt, that I will show you soon!

Like last time, I couldn't wait to use my new bag! I decided to choose an outfit incorporating purple and black into it. I also added blue into the mix to complement the skirt.

    I love that you went Op-shopping again, I told you it's quite addictive ;-) What a nice bag you found. It really enhances the skirt and top you're wearing, as does your pretty necklace (your Mum really has great taste!) and the quirky Erstwilder brooch! A very sofisticated outfit! xxx

    You have such good luck op-shopping! I really need to go more often, it's just hard with two little ones as they don't let me browse long, haha.

There is no way I could take my son along with me either, he'd be into everything and probably break a few things along the way! Ha!     I think you have put together this outfit really well. I am a softie for all things purple so this one is perfect to my tastes. I like the accessories, the handbag is just perfect and, well, I just like the lot. I am thinking though that your chances of getting the nice necklace from Amber could create a few problems as she looks very nice wearing it and I suspect that she know that as well.

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
