Colour Combo: Red & Black!

This outfit was built around my recent op-shop purchase: the red and black bag!  I love the colours and patterns of the fabric on this bag and the fact that it converts to a clutch by removing the straps!  Plus it was only $4!😉  I decided to stick with the red and black theme and chose clothes and accessories to match the bag.

    Red is a very powerful color and you've matched it perfectly. I like it all but the stand outs in my mind are the bracelet and necklace both purchased by your Mum. I'm thinking you may have inherited your sense of style from her but ........well maybe!!!! No Amber this time. I hope she is well and probably just relaxing by the pool or in the path of the air conditioner.

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
