Cheery Cherries!

This week has been a great week but also quite exhausting! Also, with all the rain we've had this week, it has seemed a little gloomy!  That's why yesterday I decided to go bright with a red top and my new cherry earrings!  I decided to add my cherry blossom brooch too, to add to the cheery cherriness!!😉

I bought this skirt about three years ago in Osaka, Japan.  The store sold a mix of new and pre-loved clothing and accessories. It was such a cool store! I'd love to go back again and spend the whole day there rummaging around for goodies!😉

    The cherry earrings look good enough to eat!!! Amber blends perfectly with your top. That skirt is really nice so I guess you will be planning a trip to Osaka any time soon. Fingers crossed, hey??

    I love how thought out your brooches were, and yes to bright colours when it's rainy and gloomy outside!

    I really love your bag too, what a fun strap!

    Hope you had a great weekend. We had a quiet one with all the wet weather! I was hoping it would have kept the cold weather around a little longer, but I don't think that's going to happen, so hot today!

      Thanks so much, Mica! I bought that bag quite recently when the store had 50% off, so it was a great deal! I love the strap on it too! ;) We had a quiet weekend too. It was so hot yesterday and we lost power for 4 hours, so we were all sweltering! Today has been so hot too, hasn't it? Can't wait for the cooler weather! ;) XXX

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
