The Eye of the Tiger!

Tomorrow night I am returning to the postgraduate study I started three years ago.  I am a bit nervous about it, but I am excited and determined to get through the course this time, so that I can get the qualification I need to land the job of my dreams!  Wish me luck, please!😉

So, as I embark on this challenge, I thought an outfit with tigers in it was appropriate, as a sartorial metaphor for my motivation and determination to finish the course this time round!  Last time round three years ago, due to various obstacles, I dropped out of the course.  This time, I am going to achieve my master's degree! I am not going to lose sight of my end goal! It's the eye of the tiger!😉

Let me just clarify that I love the song "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor and find it to be a really motivational song, however I have never seen any of the Rocky films and I never plan to! No judgement if you like the films though!😉

The outfit:

    You should be a motivational speaker as you've inspired me, not to study, but to get out there amongst it all. Good luck with your studies, I'm sure you will achieve your dreams. I like this outfit, you should wear skirts more often as they really suit you. As for the mini tiger, well doesn't she just get more gorgeous every day? A question, will you be Master of Amber eventually or is that never a possibility??

    Wow, I'm so proud of you for going for your Masters, Sasha! That is amazing! You can do it - we all believe in you! I love that "Eye of the Tiger" is your motivational song - how perfect that you're wearing tigers to remind yourself of it. Love you in a short skirt, by the way - you have awesome legs, m'dear!

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
