Patchwork Print Skirt Styled 2 Ways!

Happy Valentine's Day!  My husband and I don't do anything special for Valentine's Day, so there isn't a special outfit for today!  

Instead, I thought I would show how I've styled this patchwork print skirt in 2 new ways!  I've worn this skirt many times before with a plain black, grey or orange top.  This time I tried 2 new tops with this old favourite!

I bought this necklace very recently, so this was my first time to wear it.  I love the colours!  I'm such a sucker for beaded necklaces!  In my opinion, you can never have too many!😉

    We don't celebrate Valentine's Day either. Jos and I do not need a day to celebrate our love. We do that every day! I love the print and colour of your skirt and it offsets the blue top beautifully, so that's my favourite outfit. I totally agree that you can't have too many beaded necklaces ;-) Your new one is fabulous and I'm so in love with that ring! xxx

    My husband is quite the romantic & we usually celebrate by going to dinner. We had a quiet night in this year tho. That skirt is very nice & very versatile. I really like the embroidered top so I guess outfit no. 2 is my choice this time. Let me just say again how cute & gorgeous that cat is but I guess she knows that!!

    L and I don't do Valentine's Day either - every day is Valentine's to us, and we make sure to show each other appreciation and gratitude daily. We used to make a thing of it, but it's worn off.

    I love the first outfit - it's a classic colour combination, especially with the red beads. Lovely!

    We don't do Valentine's Day either. I did take the excuse to avoid cooking for the night though, haha! We ordered takeaway. Both outfits are lovely, this is a really nice skirt! :) I think the top one is my favourite though, I like blue and red together :)

    Hope you are having a wonderful week. The heatwave is making everything so uncomfortable! Will be glad when it's over.

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
