Print Mixing with Shades of Blue

I'm fairly new to the world of blogging and even more so when it comes to the world of print mixing!  Up until recently, my go-to style was if I'm wearing a print on top I'd wear a solid colour on the bottom and vice versa.  Print mixing seemed like something only disorganised people with either zero interest in fashion would wear (think: just woke up & grabbing any clothes & heading out the door!) or at the opposite extreme, for fashionistas on the runway and in magazines!

As an average gal, print mixing seemed out of my realm of competence!  Since I've been blogging though, I have become more open to trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone.  I used to worry so much about what other people thought of what I was wearing and as such, didn't have the confidence to try new things or even to embrace my own style.  That's why I love blogging (& my blog buddies) so much, as even if I have an outfit fail, I can always try again in the next post!

The outfit:
Top: Sussan
Pants: Rockmans
Shoes: Rivers

Earrings
Mombasa Rose

Ring & Bangle: Lovisa
Bag: GUESS

    1. Thanks so much, Ann! Amber thought the earrings were cute, but she would've preferred ginger cats! ;) XXX

  2. Good on you for trying something different from what you usually wear. It's all fun and really should just be about what makes you feel happy and also feels comfortable. On those remarks, Amber certainly seems to be always happy and comfortable wearing the same coat!!!

  3. I love the print mixing! blogging has definitely encouraged me to try more too! I smiled when I saw your top as I was excited we had the same one - but mine is from Jeanswest, not Susan! How funny, they look identical!

Hope that you are having a lovely week and you have a good weekend ahead of you :)
