Black top, floral skirt & a flamingo!

I bought this skirt yesterday and it's a nice and vibrant floral print that will be extremely versatile and match lots of different coloured tops.  Although I could've chosen any colour top, I chose black (again!) to feel most comfortable. I chose lots of colourful accessories though, so as to not feel too drab!

I got this awesome handmade and unique necklace yesterday from mum, who bought it at a craft fair. I love it! Amber seems to like it too!😉

    I really like the colours in the new skirt. You would have a choice of colours to wear with it but with the colourful accessorites I think the black top lifts any idea of being drab. Doesn't green suit Amber? She certainly outshines the pelican.

    A nice bright outfit for summer. As well as the skirt, I loved the necklace. Some people are very crafty and luckily your Mum came across one of these people. Amber, no she doesn't need props, just maybe accessories that match her colouring.

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
