I love John Lennon. I love cats. I love brooches! So, imagine (pun intended) my delight when I recently discovered this brooch! For my first time wearing this brooch I decided to add it to my necklace instead of wearing it as a brooch.

Bag: I bought this bag about 20 years ago, so I guess I can call it vintage now!😉


I'm finally having my hernia repair surgery tomorrow so I'll probably be out of action for a little while. Catch you soon!

    Oh, good luck on your surgery - I had hernia surgery about 10 years ago (I had a femoral hernia). My birthday is the same day as John Lennon's. :) Aw, I hope you get lots of kitty therapy from Amber. Take care, Sasha!

      Thanks so much, Sheila! The surgery went well but I'm still in quite a lot of pain! I underestimated how sore I'd be. Luckily Amber is taking good care of me! XXX

    Oh what a fun brooch! I love it as a pendant on your necklace, I've never seen a brooch worn like that before, great idea! I like your maxi skirt too.

Colourful Crop Cardis & Midi Skirts

Our internet is in and out at the moment, so while it's in , I'm going to go for it! The outfits I'm sharing with you today are quite different on the surface, as the colour schemes are dramatically different!  The first one has lots of autumnal colours and a bit of a 1970s vibe and the second one features more summery colours with a slight nautical vibe!  When I wore these outfits recently, I never thought they were similar at all, until I was going through my blog photos and realised both outfits were made up of colourful tees, cropped cardis and midi skirts!  So in that realisation, this post was born! My favourite outfit is the first one, because I haven't worn those colours much before and I was happy pairing these items together for the first time!  I like the second outfit as well, but I do wear blue and red together quite often.  Actually, it might be a good outfit for Australia Day, which is coming up soon! Burgundy & Beads!

Can you believe it is almost the end of February?  I am still getting used to it being 2019, and the second month is already almost over!  This is my last week to get everything sorted out before my postgraduate studies resume again next week.  I haven't even ordered my textbooks yet!  I really need to get organised!   In the outfit I'm sharing today, I'm wearing one of my fave maxi skirts that I've had for many, many years!  I've worn it with many different coloured tops over the years, but this was the first time wearing my new burgundy coloured top.  I love the burgundy and wine colours that are around at the moment.  They're so pretty!
